Orders & Shipping

How long does it take to process an order?

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

During busy periods, processing may take slightly longer, but we always do our best to ship quickly.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes — all orders ship with tracking.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Why is shipping more expensive for pots and soil?

Ceramics and soil products require extra protective packaging and are heavier than most items, which can increase shipping costs. Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on weight and destination.

What if my package says “delivered” but I don’t have it?

If tracking shows your package was marked as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Check around your property
  • Confirm the shipping address is correct
  • Contact your local carrier

You may also email us at support@morgansbonsai.com and we’ll do our best to assist with a carrier claim when possible.


Returns & Damaged Items

Do you accept returns?

We do not accept returns for change-of-mind purchases or buyer’s remorse. We encourage customers to review product descriptions and measurements carefully before ordering.

Because many of our products are specialty items, all sales are generally final.

What if my ceramic pot arrives broken?

We carefully pack all ceramics, but shipping damage can occasionally occur.

If your pot or ceramic item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at:

support@morgansbonsai.com

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label

Once confirmed, we will offer a replacement (if available) or a refund for the damaged item.

Can I return soil or substrate?

No — all soil and substrate products are final sale and non-returnable under any circumstances.

Due to weight and handling considerations, soil cannot be returned once shipped.

What if I receive the wrong item?

If we made a mistake with your order, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, and we will make it right.


Products

Are your products made in Japan?

Yes – almost all of our products are made in Japan and we only import from Japan.

Occasionally something we import from Japan is made is China, it will clearly be stated as such.

We occasionally sell pots handmade by artisans in the USA.

Are your pots and ceramics handmade?

Some ceramic items may be handmade or produced in small batches. Because of this, slight variations in color, texture, or finish are normal and part of their character.

Do you sell live trees?

No — at this time, Morgan’s Bonsai sells only tools, pots, ceramics, soil, and other bonsai supplies.
