Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting our small business and the bonsai community. We take a lot of care in selecting, packing, and shipping every item.

Because many of our products are specialty goods (and some are fragile or difficult to resell once opened), we keep our return policy fairly limited — but we will always do our best to make things right if something arrives damaged or incorrect.

If you ever have a question about an item before ordering, please contact us. We’re happy to help.


Damaged Items (Pots & Ceramics)

We carefully pack all ceramics, but occasionally damage can happen during shipping.

If your pot, figurine, or ceramic item arrives broken:

  • Please contact us within 3 days of delivery
  • Email us at: support@morgansbonsai.com
  • Include your order number and clear photos of:
    • The damaged item
    • The packaging (inside and outside)
    • The shipping label

Once we confirm the damage, we will offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement (if available), or
  • A refund for the damaged item

Tools & Supplies

Due to the nature of bonsai tools and care products (cut paste, tool oil, etc.), we are not able to accept returns once they have been delivered.

However, if you receive the wrong item or something is missing, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and we’ll fix it.


Soil & Substrate (Final Sale)

All soil and substrate products are final sale and non-returnable under any circumstances.

Because soil and substrates are heavy and cannot be safely resold once shipped, we are unable to accept returns on these items.


Order Issues or Mistakes

If we made an error with your order, please let us know right away and we will make it right.


Change-of-Mind Returns

At this time, we do not accept returns for reasons such as:

  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Deciding you no longer want the item
  • Color or appearance differences
  • General buyer’s remorse

We encourage customers to review product descriptions and measurements carefully, and to contact us with any questions before placing an order.


Return Shipping

We do not provide prepaid return shipping labels.
