Description
The concave cutter is one of the most important tools in bonsai. Unlike ordinary cutters, the concave cutter is specifically shaped to remove a branch flush to the trunk while leaving a concave hollow. That hollow heals cleanly and calluses over without the raised, unsightly scar that a flat cut leaves. This 8″ Yoshiaki model is made from carbon steel with traditional hand-finishing in Japan. Included in all three tool sets. Apply cut paste after each use for best results.
